Frequently asked questions
Is Nefes free?
Yes. The craving session, counter, slip log, health timeline and basic insights are always free. An optional one-time Nefes+ purchase unlocks widgets, extra breathing exercises, ambient sounds, themes, multiple goals and advanced insights. No subscription.
I smoked one. Did my counter reset?
No. Logging a slip never resets the counter; only "cigarettes not smoked" and "money saved" adjust. If you really want to start over, go to Settings → "Restart quit date".
I bought Nefes+ but it isn't unlocked / I changed phones.
Tap Settings → "Restore purchases" while signed in with the Apple ID you used to buy it. With Family Sharing on, your family members can use it too.
Why is the app in Turkish?
Nefes currently ships in Turkish only. An English version is planned.
Can I back up my data?
For your privacy, data is stored only on your phone and is never sent to the cloud. Your iPhone's own backup (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) includes the app's data.
How do I delete all my data?
Settings → "Delete all data". It asks you to confirm twice and cannot be undone. Deleting the app also removes all data.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone with iOS 17 or later. There is no iPad version yet.
