In short: Nefes does not collect any personal data. Everything you enter is stored only on your phone and is never sent to any server.
This policy covers the Nefes: Sigarayı Bırak app, developed by Hakan Okay (OkayMedia, İzmir, Türkiye).
What is stored
The information you enter is kept only on your device, in the app’s own storage:
- cigarettes per day, pack price and cigarettes per pack,
- your quit date,
- your reason for quitting and an optional photo,
- your savings goals,
- your craving and slip logs,
- your preferences (such as theme and notification settings).
Neither we nor any third party can access this information. Widgets read a summary of this data from a storage area shared with the app on the same device.
Internet connection
Nefes makes no internet connections of its own. It uses no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting tools. No account or sign-in is required. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used.
Photos
If you add a photo to “Why are you quitting?”, only the photo you pick is resized and saved inside the app. The rest of your photo library is not accessed.
Notifications
Reminders and health-milestone notifications are scheduled locally on your phone. No server is involved. You can turn notifications off at any time in Settings.
Purchases
The Nefes+ purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or store your payment details. Purchases are verified through Apple’s systems.
Backups
If you use device backups such as iCloud Backup, your iPhone may include the app’s data in those backups. Backups are managed by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy, not by us.
Deleting your data
In the app, Settings → “Delete all data” permanently removes all your records. Deleting the app from your phone also removes all data. Because we don’t hold your data, there is no need to send us a deletion request.
Children
Nefes is not directed at children and does not collect information from anyone.

Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
